O'CONNELL GALLERY is situated in the picturesque West Cork coastal town of Clonakilty. The gallery is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm (or by appointment outside those hours).
The gallery presents an evolving collection of Irish art, craft and design and always holds a stock of works by both emerging and established artists and makers. Alongside this collection, the gallery runs an exhibition programme, featuring both solo and group shows. Please see the exhibitions page for further information.
The gallery director is Stephen O'Connell. A former decorative arts specialist at Christie's, he is a current member of the advisory panel for the Golden Fleece Award, and also a member of the Curatorial Panel for the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland / National Design & Craft Gallery, Kilkenny.
